A place for notes

The rest of this site is a board of things I can point at: apps that shipped, libraries that escaped a third rewrite, systems that are still running. That is useful. It is also incomplete.

A lot of the work does not leave a repo. Why a service failed at 3am. Why I stopped using a pattern I was sure about last year. The six-month gap between “this is obviously right” and “this is obviously wrong.” Those notes used to die in commit messages and chat threads.

So this is a folder of dated notes, not a magazine. Short when they can be. Specific when they have to be. No launch announcements dressed up as writing.
